Gas, electric, and induction cooktop repair
A stove top and an oven fail for completely different reasons even when they share one appliance, which is why this page is separate. Gas cooktops come down to electrodes, spark modules, and safety valves. Electric coil and radiant tops are elements, switches, and the surface itself. Induction is a power board and its coils, plus the sensors that protect them from overheating.
We repair standalone cooktops as well as the surface section of a freestanding range, across gas, electric radiant, coil, and induction. Where a control panel is involved we isolate the touch membrane from the board underneath before quoting, since those parts differ substantially in price.

A dirty or cracked spark electrode, a wet or misaligned burner cap, or a failed spark module.

Why does my burner keep clicking after it lights?
Moisture or spillage around the electrode keeps the spark module firing. Cleaning and drying the burner and cap usually solves it; a cracked electrode does not.
Is a cracked glass cooktop worth repairing?
Often yes, provided the glass panel is still available for the model. We confirm part availability and price before recommending it over replacement.
My induction hob shows an error and shuts down under load.
That is typically the overheat protection reacting to a cooling fan or sensor fault rather than the coils themselves, and it is a repairable fault.
Do you repair the cooktop on a freestanding range?
Yes. The surface and the oven are diagnosed separately, so a cooktop fault does not mean paying for oven work.
