Wall oven and freestanding range repair

Oven faults divide neatly into three groups: it does not heat, it heats to the wrong temperature, or the controls do not respond. Each group has a short and well-understood list of causes — an element or igniter, a temperature sensor out of tolerance, or a control board and its touch panel.

We repair wall ovens, freestanding and slide-in ranges, double ovens, and gas and electric models alike, including convection fans and self-clean circuits. Temperature is verified with a calibrated probe under real load rather than trusting the panel reading, since a display that says 350°F is exactly what a failed sensor produces.

What usually goes wrong

The faults we see most often on oven & ranges. If yours is on this list, say so when you book — it helps us load the right part before we set off.

Oven will not heat at all

A broken bake element, a failed igniter on a gas oven, or a relay on the control board that no longer closes.
Bakes unevenly, or well below the set point

A temperature sensor drifted out of tolerance, a weak element, or a convection fan that has stopped.
Gas burners click but will not light

A dirty or cracked spark electrode, a wet burner cap, or a failed spark module.
Broil works, bake does not (or the reverse)

One of the two elements has failed open, or its relay on the control board has.
Display dead or unresponsive to touch

Touch panel membrane failure or a control board fault — these are diagnosed separately as the parts differ greatly in price.
Door will not close flush, or heat escapes

Worn door seal, dropped hinges, or a warped inner panel letting the cavity lose temperature.

We wanted our dryer vent cleaned, I coordinated with 3 other neighbors to have the service done the same day for the 4 houses. The Technician Artem was excellent, on time (minus a gate code glitch) respectful of the property, worked quickly and efficiently and left the laundry room clean of all the lint behind the machines. I felt the pricing was a bit high, but the service comes with a 6 moths warranty. My oven says 350 but bakes like 300. Is that repairable?

Yes, and it is one of the most common calls. It is nearly always the temperature sensor, and it is a short repair with a calibrated verification afterwards.

Do you work on gas ranges as well as electric?

Yes — igniters, spark modules, safety valves, and burner assemblies on gas, and elements, sensors, and control boards on electric.

Is a self-clean cycle bad for the oven?

It is hard on door seals, sensors, and control boards because of the very high temperature. If an oven fails right after a self-clean, that is usually why, and the failed part is normally the thermal fuse or the control.

Can you repair a double wall oven?

Yes. Each cavity has its own elements and sensor, so a fault in one does not mean the whole unit needs replacing.
