Most refrigerator calls come down to a handful of causes: a defrost system that has stopped clearing the evaporator, a condenser fan or start relay that has failed, a door gasket letting warm air in, or a control board reading a sensor that is no longer accurate. What usually goes wrong

We wanted our dryer vent cleaned, I coordinated with 3 other neighbors to have the service done the same day for the 4 houses. The Technician Artem was excellent, on time (minus a gate code glitch) respectful of the property, worked quickly and efficiently and left the laundry room clean of all the lint behind the machines. I felt the pricing was a bit high, but the service comes with a 6 moths warranty. How long does a refrigerator repair take?

Most repairs finish in a single visit of one to two hours. A sealed-system repair or an uncommon part needs a second appointment, and you are told that on the first visit rather than after it.

Is it worth repairing an older refrigerator?

As a rule of thumb: if the repair costs less than half of a comparable replacement and the unit is under about ten years old, repair is the better value. The technician gives you both numbers so the call is yours.

Do you work on built-in and column refrigerators?

Yes — Sub-Zero, Thermador, Viking, Monogram and similar built-ins, as well as standard freestanding French door, side-by-side, and top-freezer units.

My fridge is loud but still cold. Can it wait?

It can, but a fan or relay that is audibly failing usually takes the cooling with it within a few weeks, and it is a far cheaper repair before it takes the compressor down.
